Christina and Richard and their Jack Russell terrier Macaroni, aka “Mac” were so fun to photograph! I was a bit worried that Mac would be somewhat of a distraction during our shoot, but that wasn’t the case at all. He followed us everywhere off leash and never ran off. Now I wish my dog would be as obedient as him. Shooting at Lands End in beautiful Golden Gate National Recreation Area was quite an adventure for all of us. Since it was our first time there, none of us had any ideas where we would shoot or what type of landscapes to expect. Lucky for us, the narrow paths weren’t too strenuous and we actually found some really cool spots with spectacular views. Regardless the hike, Christina and Richard were complete champs and I can honestly say that it felt like I was taking a casual walk with some friends. Once we moved locations to the Presidio, the whole dynamic of our session changed; Mac had more space to run around and play and Christina and Richard felt more comfortable in front of the camera. At the end of our session, we all felt really confident in every captured. I can’t wait to photograph their special day with my lovely wife, Cindy who is their wedding planner! Chee-whoo! Thank you Christina and Richard for hanging out with me and we’ll see you soon.
